MMA gear refers more to MMA gloves, rashguards, wraps, gum shields and MMA shorts. MMA wear can also include MMA shorts and rashguards but generally covers MMA T Shirts, hooded tops, caps and hats. Whilst shorts and rashguards can be considered MMA wear, they are quite specifically constructed for use in the sport of MMA, more so than general MMA wear which may simply be affiliated with MMA while not being suitable for use in actual training or competition.
